Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Project Manager to join our team at our state-of-the-art Steel Mill located in East Chicago, IN. As a key player in our operations, you will be responsible for overseeing various projects that drive efficiency and innovation within our facility. Responsibilities Lead and manage multiple projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and quality assurance, to align project goals.Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, and monitor progress against these benchmarks.Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project success.Communicate project status and updates to stakeholders, fostering a collaborative environment.Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards throughout all project phases.Facilitate training sessions and workshops to enhance team skills and knowledge.Continuously seek opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in the steel or manufacturing industry.Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead diverse teams.Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana, or similar tools).Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
Salary : $150,000 - $165,000
