General/Lead Site Superintendent
- Job Summary
TEKO CONSTRUCTION, LLC is seeking an experienced General/Lead Site Superintendent.
With a min of 7 years experience in working on podium style residential/ commercial multi family buildings 5 levels. The General/Lead Superintendent will serve as the primary on-site field leader and will be responsible for managing daily construction operations from mobilization through final inspections, closeout, and Certificate of Occupancy. This role requires a hands-on leader who can manage subcontractors, coordinate schedules and inspections, maintain site safety and quality, and communicate effectively with ownership, and consultants to ensure seamless project execution.
- Qualifications
* Minimum 7 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent, Site Superintendent, Lead Superintendent.
* Must hold an active Massachusetts Unrestricted Construction Supervisor License (CSL).
*FFPM certified
*OSHA certified
*Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless project execution.
* Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, contracts, subcontracts, RFIs, submittals, and shop drawings.
* Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, documentation, and organizational skills.
* Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
- Responsibilities
* Maintain full-time on-site presence during the active workday, from jobsite opening through end-of-day shutdown.
* Lead and coordinate all daily field operations, subcontractors, suppliers, deliveries, inspections, and site logistics.
* Manage project sequencing, look-ahead schedules, manpower coordination, and schedule recovery efforts when needed.
* Conduct weekly subcontractor coordination meetings and participate in weekly project meetings with ownership, architects, engineers, consultants, and project management.
* Maintain strong safety, quality control, cleanliness, and professionalism throughout the project.
* Coordinate utilities, public agency requirements, police details, fire department requirements, and other project-related approvals as needed.
* Prepare daily field reports, progress updates, manpower tracking, photos, inspection logs, and weekly schedule updates.
* Manage punch list, final inspections, turnover, and project closeout.

Pay: $110,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
