JOB OVERVIEW
The Marketing Operations Specialist will be responsible for maintaining Teknova’s website, managing digital marketing campaigns, updating weekly web and digital performance data reports, and coordinating the company’s participation at various industry events. This role will require collaboration with internal cross functional teams to launch internal and external marketing initiatives, as well as management of external agencies and partners. In addition, they will support production of marketing collateral and support the development of content for Teknova. The Marketing Operations Specialist will have an essential role in supporting the success of the marketing department and Teknova.

Requirements
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain and update Teknova’s website for accuracy, performance, SEO (search engine optimization), lead scoring, and user experience
- Develop and maintain reporting dashboards to track marketing KPIs and campaign performance on a weekly basis
- Provide actionable insights to improve ROI (return on investment) and inform strategic decisions
- Coordinate with performance marketing team to monitor digital marketing campaigns across key channels (e.g. Google, Microsoft)
- Manage and execute paid and organic social channels (e.g. LinkedIn)
- Provide ongoing support for email and lead generation activities as required
- Plan and execute virtual and in-person events, including webinars, trade shows, and conferences
- Manage event logistics, budgets, and post-event reporting
- Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve operational efficiency
- Collaborate with key marketing and cross-functional and teams, along with external agency partners, as needed
- Support the review, production, and publication of marketing collateral for digital, event, or other, use
EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s degree; may be supplemented by 4 years applicable experience
KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / EXPERIENCE
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing operations, website/digital management, or similar. Experience in the life sciences industry preferred
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a project lead, working cross-functionally across internal and external teams
- Prior experience with event planning and related project management
- Experience with common Microsoft applications, such as Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Proficiency in Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, SEO best practices, and reporting tools
- Knowledge of digital advertising platforms (Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads)
- Understanding of marketing strategies, campaign execution, timeline management, and driving accountability across projects, programs, and people
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, with strong attention to detail

Salary : $99,000 - $124,000
