Since 1924, when Alfred Fain opened a small Rhode Island tire store, we’ve expanded to nine U.S. sites and operations in Belgium, Singapore, Germany, and China. Your development journey

• Structured 18-month apprenticeship focused on reliability and maintenance fundamentals
• Hands-on training to maintain production and facilities equipment to design efficiency and throughput
• Safety-first mindset: keep the shop, tools, and machinery safe and compliant
• Care for and secure tools and test equipment; keep everything in working order
• Flexible coverage: be available for overtime and on-call needs

Schedule

Training: Primarily day shift (7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.) for the first 18 months
Post-training: Placement may be on second or third shift

What you bring

• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
• Two years of manufacturing experience or a skilled trade background
• Computer literacy
• Must be 18 years of age to work at Teknor Apex.

Pay and benefits

Hourly rate: $20.00–$33.00, depending on experience
