What are the responsibilities and job description for the Industrial Maintenance Technician – Plastics Compounding position at Teknor Apex?
What your night looks like
You clock in at 10:45 pm. By 11:00, you’ve reviewed the work orders in Outlook, pulled up schematics, and coordinated with production. A chiller alarm? You verify LOTO, isolate the issue, and swap a faulty solenoid. Before sunrise, you’ve completed PMs on compressors, logged findings, and helped an operator bring an extruder back to design throughput. At 7:00 am, you hand off clear notes so the next crew can keep moving.
