What are the responsibilities and job description for the Forklift & Railcar Logistics Technician position at Teknor Apex?
Picture this: You arrive at 8:00am, complete the Forklift Operator Daily Checklist, and ease into the driver's seat. Pallets are staged, loads are verified for integrity, and you help keep the aisles clear and safe. A truck backs into the dock — you load it efficiently, then head outside to connect or disconnect a railcar, rain or shine. Throughout the day you follow our SOPs, pitch in where needed, and even get hands-on time learning a turret truck. By late afternoon, you're assisting with space planning and inventory transfers so everything is exactly where it needs to be before you wrap up at 5:00pm.
