What you’ll do (day to day)

• Keep equipment safe and ready: Confirm all melt-mixing assets are operating correctly.
• Run to spec: Follow processing instructions and setup parameters for pellet production.
• Blend with accuracy: Convert specified additives into a uniform dry blend.
• Weigh and stage: Precisely weigh materials for each production run; organize and store raw materials per program.
• Control the flow: Use console systems and load sheets to transfer bulk materials from silos/tanks to mixing vessels.
• Package right: Box and bag finished PVC pellets per the schedule; follow silo, packaging, and labeling directions.
• Communicate and support: Share quality/process updates with operators and support teams; provide break relief; flex across lines as needed.
• Be a pro teammate: Keep your area clean, attend department meetings, and complete the 90-day probation.
  
  

What it takes to succeed

• Comfort reading SOPs and technical notes; sound judgment and problem-solving.
• Math fluency: fractions, decimals, rates/ratios/percentages; interpret bar graphs.
• Dependable attendance in a continuous production environment.
• Lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly; climb stairs; perform in warm/hot conditions.
• Forklift driving with a valid license; PPE provided (safety shoes, glasses, hearing protection, respirator as needed).
• Training typically on 1st shift up to 4 weeks; then move to 2nd or 3rd shift. Overtime—including Saturdays and Sundays—when customer demand requires.
  
  

Physical realities of the job

• Lift, cut, and dump 60-lb bags into blenders many times per shift.
• Load/scoop from boxes and drums—20,000 to 40,000 lbs total in a shift.
• Operate forklifts/hand trucks; scrape blender walls; bend/stoop/lean for periods.
• Climb ladders/stairs; handle drums and related equipment.

Shift available: 2nd Shift (2:40pm - 11:00pm)

Our Fountain Inn facility is smoke-free; tobacco products are not permitted on-site.
