Key Responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat in a professional, helpful and timely manner
- Prepare quotes and process customer orders accurately using our ERP system
- Provide solutions to customers and answer complex questions on products and services.
- Resolve customer concerns and escalate issues when necessary
- Track and manage orders and follow-through to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment
- Provide product information, pricing, order status and assist customers in selecting appropriate products for their applications
- Coordinate and communicate with the manufacturing team regarding production and to ensure timely shipment of orders
- Manage and grow existing accounts as well as prospect for new business.
- Content creation and managing social media and online reputation functions.
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred
- 1–3 years of customer service or sales support experience preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and customer management systems
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
- Hourly position; overtime may be required based on business needs
- Typical schedule: Monday–Friday, standard business hours
- Compensation based on experience and qualifications
- Experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs
- Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods
- Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone
