Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: other duties may be assigned.
- Receive, unload, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
- Operate forklift, pallet jack, and other material-handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Pull, stage, and prepare customer and production orders accurately and on time.
- Load outbound shipments and ensure proper packaging, labeling, and documentation.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through physical counts and system transactions.
- Store materials in designated locations following warehouse layout and safety standards.
- Perform routine forklift inspections and report maintenance or safety issues.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment in compliance with company policies.
- Following all OSHA, safety, and company procedures at all times.
- Assist with inventory audits, cycle counts, and stock rotation (FIFO as applicable).
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, shipping carriers, and team members.
- Support other warehouse and production tasks as needed to meet operational demands.
Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience
Skilled Forklift operator with appropriate training.
Language Skills
Fluent in English, both verbal and written. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, work orders, operating instructions and procedure manuals and manufacturing terminology. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals legibly. Ability to follow and understand verbal instructions. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations, to other employees of the organization and respond to questions.
Mathematics Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratios, and percentages to practical situations. Understands English and Metric Measurement.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to consider all variables and come up with solutions that create the best possible outcome for all parties. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Ability to understand the role and how it affects all other roles associated with it. Must be able to adapt with little or no standardization.
