JOB SUMMARY |

Process Quality Technician is responsible for providing quality and training support to equipment operators and manufacturing department personnel. Position is an on the floor active involvement work detail with responsibility for assuring quality standards are followed and customer expectations are achieved through the daily production workflow. This position is to assure compliance to manufacturing instructions, completion of quality procedures by operations and is to conduct audit assessments of trained practicals of task by in job persons signed off by a trainer. This position reports to the manufacturing Production Manager of the assigned area(s) |

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES |
QUALIFICATIONS Minimum: 2 year degree in technical or quality field; ASQ certification or similar Quality Experience or 5 years related experience in flexible packaging manufacturing with emphasis on operations auditing or machine process and operation. SPECIFIC SKILLS REQUIRED: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to think strategically, exercise independent judgment and problem solve; ability to work cohesively with multi-functional development and process teams. Ability to train employees and guide in a positive and progressive manner LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read, analyze, and interprets general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, employees and customers. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to work with basic mathematical concepts as applied to daily responsibility and task. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. REASONING ABILITY Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to define problems collects data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
