What are the responsibilities and job description for the Day shift (4:45am-5:00pm) Production Operator position at TekniPlex?
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Monitor conveyor for proper alignment and orientation of egg cartons.
- Continuous monitoring of press for malfunctions, and make adjustments as needed to maintain consistent quality.
- Visually inspect cartons to ensure they meet quality standards, to include dimensional accuracy.
- Maintaining detailed production records, logging key parameters, and documenting quality issues.
- Performs basic machine maintenance and escalate any machine repairs needed.
- Adheres to safety procedures, wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE), and reporting potential hazards.
