Access Control and Surveillance Installer / Service Technician
Responsibilities:
- Install access control, and surveillance devices
- Install, terminate, test, label and document horizontal, backbone and other cables
- Install cable pathway systems (cable trays, cable racks, J-hooks or D-rings)
- Measure low voltage cables and interpret the results
- Installing/pulling cable and wire
- Able to climb ladders and use aerial lifts
- Mounting panels, field devices, computers, power supplies
- Programming, set-up, and testing systems
- Dress and route cable into closets and control rooms
- Identifies code issues and non-conformance issues
- Service surveillance systems such as Milestone Video Management Systems, IP cameras, servers, and basic Ethernet networking protocols
- Responds and carries out to completion any troubleshooting and repairs to assigned customer systems
- Ensures assigned installations are completed on-time and within budget
- Ability to work independently, as well as a team member
- Practice all field safety requirements as well as use and function of all required personal protective equipment
- Some travel involved, up to 25%
- Certifications are a plus

Qualifications:
- Must have 2 years of Service Technician/Installation experience
- Must be able to pass a drug and background check
- Must have a clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50lbs or more
