What are the responsibilities and job description for the Air Traffic Control and Landing Systems (ATC&LS) Flight Test Engineer position at Tekla Research, Inc.?

Clearance Required: Top Secret
Functional Description: Project Engineer in the Air Traffic Control & Landing Systems (ATC&LS) Branch, supporting Test and Evaluation (T&E) of PMA-213 Projects, including but not limited to Precision Approach and Landing Systems (PALS) Certification, Automatic Carrier Landing System (ACLS) next-generation and regression T&E, Instrument Carrier Landing System (ICLS) Regression, Joint Precision Approach and Landing System (JPALS), and surveillance radar systems (AN/SPN-50). Incumbent will conduct test planning, execution, and reporting for the above projects. Incumbent works well on a team, learns new processes quickly, is willing and able to travel approximately 3 wk/yr in support of shipboard test efforts of approximately 1 week aboard USN vessels. Incumbent has a basic knowledge of RADAR, data link, navigation, GPS, and fixed-wing flight controls concepts.
Strong desire for someone with the ability to work within a team, meet schedules and deadlines, communicate within and outside test team.

Salary
The projected salary range for this position is $95,000-$110,000; however, this is not a guarantee of salary. Salary will be set based on experience and contractual requirements.
