Federal Estimator – Design-Build / MACC
Tekko Enterprises is seeking an experienced Federal Estimator with a strong background in Design-Build and MACC/IDIQ federal construction projects. This position is responsible for preparing accurate, competitive estimates for government projects and supporting successful proposal submissions.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of federal construction estimating experience
- Experience estimating Design-Build projects
- Experience with MACC, MATOC, IDIQ, SATOC, or JOC contract vehicles
- Strong knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Davis-Bacon, and federal procurement processes
- Ability to read construction drawings, specifications, and perform detailed quantity takeoffs
- Experience preparing conceptual through final construction estimates
- Proficient with estimating software such as Bluebeam, HCSS HeavyBid, Sage Estimating, Planswift, OST, or similar
- Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills
Preferred Experience
- USACE, NAVFAC, GSA, DoD, VA, or other federal agency projects
- Industrial, heavy civil, structural steel, mining, or infrastructure construction
