Duties

• Prepare a variety of baked goods, including cakes, pastries, and other confections, adhering strictly to established recipes and quality standards
• Decorate cakes and desserts with precision, creativity, and attention to detail to meet customer specifications
• Operate kitchen equipment such as mixers, ovens, knives, and pastry tools safely and efficiently
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace by following food safety protocols and sanitation procedures at all times
• Assist in food preparation for catering events or high-volume production runs, ensuring timely delivery of products
• Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures and maintaining hygiene standards throughout the process
• Collaborate with team members to ensure consistent quality, recipe adherence, and efficient workflow during busy periods

Requirements

• Proven experience in food production, baking, or pastry arts within a commercial kitchen or bakery setting
• Strong skills in cake decorating, pastry preparation, and food handling techniques
• Knowledge of kitchen equipment operation including mixers, ovens, knives, and other culinary tools
• Familiarity with food safety management practices and maintaining a clean workspace in compliance with health regulations
• Ability to perform basic math for measurements, portioning, and recipe adjustments accurately
• Excellent customer service skills when interacting with clients or team members
• Prior experience in catering or restaurant environments is highly desirable
• High-volume production experience preferred for fast-paced work environments
• Culinary experience that demonstrates proficiency in baking, cooking, and food presentation
