Overview
We are seeking a Utilities Engineer with a strong pharmaceutical background to support deviation investigations and change control activities across site utilities systems. This individual will play a key role in ensuring compliance and operational continuity by managing quality events and system changes, with a focus on clean utilities, dirty utilities, and HVAC systems.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and support deviation investigations related to utilities systems
Author and manage change controls within Veeva Vault
Ensure timely and compliant execution of quality records and documentation
Partner with cross-functional teams (Quality, Engineering, Operations) to resolve issues
Support root cause analysis and implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs)
Assess impact of changes on validated systems and ensure proper documentation
Provide technical input on utilities systems performance and reliability
Support continuous improvement initiatives related to utilities and compliance
Required Qualifications
Hands-on experience with deviation investigations and change control processes
Experience managing quality systems within Veeva Vault
Deep understanding of utilities systems, including:
Clean utilities (e.g., WFI, clean steam, compressed air)
Dirty utilities (e.g., plant steam, chilled water, wastewater)
HVAC systems (air handling units, environmental controls)
Experience supporting regulated systems and documentation requirements
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with Building Management Systems (BMS) such as Metasys
