Job Title: DeltaV DesignerLocation: Indianapolis, INDuration: 12 Months (Year Plus)Work Schedule: 40 hours per week Note: client who is looking for multiple mid and senior level Delta V designers for a multi-year projectJob DescriptionOur client is seeking experienced DeltaV Designers with a strong pharmaceutical manufacturing background to support a greenfield buildout of a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility. This role is focused on hands-on DeltaV system design and lifecycle execution, not post-implementation support.The ideal candidate will play a key role in design-phase development, working closely with system integrators, vendors, and engineering teams through commissioning and equipment startup.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and execute DeltaV design activities for a greenfield pharmaceutical facility.Develop Phase-based control strategies, including:Equipment Modules (EMs)Control Modules (CMs)Phase Logic and sequencingDesign and configure DeltaV Batch and Continuous control systems.Create and manage SAT Stack Control Modules.Draft and maintain DeltaV documentation, including:Functional Design Specifications (FDS)Control NarrativesModule design documentationCollaborate with system integrators, OEMs, and vendors during design, FAT, SAT, and commissioning.Support equipment commissioning, startup, and system integration activities.Ensure designs comply with GMP, FDA, and pharmaceutical validation requirements.Participate in design reviews and provide technical input throughout the project lifecycle.Required QualificationsStrong hands-on experience as a DeltaV Designer (not support-only roles).Proven experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing environments (GMP-regulated).Expertise in:DeltaV Phase DesignEquipment Modules and Control ModulesSAT Stack / Stackable Control ModulesExperience supporting greenfield projects is highly preferred.Solid understanding of commissioning, FAT, and SAT activities.Ability to work effectively with cross-functional engineering and integration teams.Preferred QualificationsExperience with DeltaV Batch systems.Familiarity with ISA-88 / ISA-95 standards.Prior experience working with large system integrators on capital projects.
