Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Chemical Operator to join our manufacturing team. Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor chemical production equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety compliance
- Perform routine inspections, troubleshooting, and maintenance of machinery to minimize downtime
- Manage materials handling tasks including packaging, warehousing, and inventory control
- Utilize forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely to move raw materials and finished products
- Conduct laboratory testing and quality checks to verify product specifications meet regulatory standards
- Follow CGMP guidelines strictly to maintain product integrity and compliance with industry regulations
- Support lean manufacturing initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and implementing process improvements
- Document production activities accurately in accordance with company procedures and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including maintenance, quality assurance, and logistics
Qualifications
- Proven experience in chemical manufacturing or related industrial environments
- Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, CGMP regulations, and laboratory testing procedures
- Experience operating forklifts, machining tools, and handling materials within a warehouse setting
- Familiarity with packaging processes and materials handling techniques
- Laboratory experience is preferred to support quality control activities
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail and safety standards
- Prior experience in manufacturing environments with a focus on safety compliance is highly desirable
