What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mainframe Developer position at TekGlobal?
Job: Mainframe Developer
Location: Phoenix AZ
We need someone who can quickly understand our current Mobius (a product from Rocket Software) installation on mainframe and how it’s used for archiving and distributing data from and to multiple sources and recommend a home-grown solution that can relace the features (not necessarily the product). The ideal candidate should have prior experience with Mobius, if not these are the minimum skills required for someone to learn Mobius on the job:
- Mainframe application Development (COBOL, JCL, VSAM)
- Batch monitoring & Scheduling
- Performance/health check (CPU/memory usage)
Desired additional skills:
- REXX
- Assembler
Salary : $60 - $70
