Intune Engineer
Boston, MA (Day 1 onsite)
12 month contract
Key Responsibilities and Tasks:
Device Management (MDM/MAM): Enroll, configure, and secure corporate and BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) devices using Microsoft Intune.
Security & Compliance: Create, deploy, and monitor compliance policies, BitLocker, firewall settings, and Microsoft Defender for Endpoint.
Application Deployment: Package, distribute, and update applications across various platforms.
Deployment Methods: Utilize Windows Autopilot for zero-touch provisioning and manage device updates via Windows Update for Business.
Identity & Access: Integrate with Azure Active Directory (Entra ID) for conditional access and role-based access control.
Troubleshooting & Support: Resolve enrollment, policy, and app deployment issues.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of Microsoft Intune, Azure Active Directory, and Endpoint Configuration Manager.
Platform Knowledge: Proficiency in managing Windows, iOS, macOS, and Android devices.
Scripting: Experience with PowerShell or Microsoft Graph API for automation.
Security Focus: Understanding of security baselines and data protection policies.
