Business Analyst with Charles River experience
Location: NY / Remote with travel
*** We need: A business Analyst (10 years minimum) who has been involved in Charles River projects (Implementations are a huge plus) and has a great functional understanding of the trading technology. Candidates must have strong experience in the Charles River Investment Management System (CRIMS) OR Charles River Performance Measurement (CRPM) modules. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business users and technology teams, driving the successful implementation, enhancement, and support of Charles River solutions within our investment management environment
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or related field.
- 3–7 years of experience as a Business Analyst within the investment management or asset managementindustry.
- Hands-on experience with Charles River IMS (CRIMS) and Charles River Performance (CRPM) modules.
- Strong understanding of front-to-back investment workflows — including portfolio management, trading, compliance, performance, and risk.
- Proven ability to document business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
- Experience with data analysis, SQL queries, and system integration testing.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred:
- Experience with other investment systems (e.g., Aladdin, SimCorp, Bloomberg AIM, Eagle).
- Familiarity with FIX protocols, market data integration, or reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau).
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies and JIRA/Confluence tools.
