Tekchix is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to help expand our presence within the IT staffing industry. This role is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, cultivating strong client relationships, and partnering closely with our recruiting team to ensure the successful delivery of IT staffing solutions. Responsibilities
- Research, identify, and pursue new business opportunities within the IT sector
- Leverage market insights, networking, and outbound strategies to expand the client base
- Build, maintain, and strengthen long-term relationships with clients
- Develop a deep understanding of client needs and provide customized staffing solutions
- Create strategic plans to grow existing client relationships
- Increase client satisfaction and uncover additional opportunities for engagement
- Partner closely with recruiters to ensure client requirements are clearly communicated
- Advise clients on current market conditions, talent availability, and competitive compensation trends
- Serve as a trusted staffing and workforce strategy partner
- Maintain accurate and organized documentation within CRM and ATS systems
- Provide consistent reporting on pipeline development, client activity, and overall progress
- Lead proposal development, pricing discussions, and contract negotiations
- Consistently achieve or exceed sales and revenue goals
- Stay informed on IT job market trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Information Technology, or related field (preferred)
- Minimum of 3 years of business development or sales experience (staffing or recruiting is preferred)
- Strong track record of achieving sales goals and growing client relationships
- Solid understanding of IT job functions, technologies, and industry dynamics
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with CRM systems, ATS platforms, and Microsoft Office
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
