Tekberry is looking for a highly qualified and motivated Materials Handler/Packer to work on-site with our client, a top-tier consumer packaged goods company. As a W2 employee you will have access to health benefits.
Responsibilities:
A "pack-out" involves carefully removing contents from a disaster-damaged property or preparing products for shipment, while the "filling environment" refers to the controlled workspace where these tasks happen, focusing on ergonomics, material accessibility, and sometimes specialized conditions like climate control for restoration or efficient setups for fulfillment. The goal is efficient, safe handling, whether restoring items after water/fire damage (pack-out) or preparing goods for retail/customer delivery (fulfillment).
Qualifications:
- Prior experience working in a pack-out and filling environment
- A high school diploma or higher level of education
- Able to drive a forklift
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
