As a W2 employee you will have access to health benefits.Responsibilities:AI Application & Systems Development • Design and implement AI systems combining GenAI, narrow AI, and traditional ML models. • Build retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) systems, multi-agent architectures, and protocol-driven AI (e.g., MCP). • Integrate AI into production-grade applications using AWS serverless and containerized services (Lambda, Fargate, ECS). • Fine-tune and optimize models for performance, latency, and reliability. • Build and maintain data pipelines for training, evaluation, and monitoring using AWS Glue, S3, Step Functions, Kinesis.Cloud & Infrastructure Engineering • Architect scalable AWS AI workloads (SageMaker, Bedrock, API Gateway, IAM, EventBridge). • Build microservices and APIs that integrate AI workloads into campus applications. • Develop automated CI/CD pipelines and ensure observability and monitoring of deployed systems. • Apply infrastructure-as-code (CloudFormation) and containerization best practices (Docker). • Ensure data security and compliance (FERPA, GDPR).Collaboration & Continuous Improvement • Work with cross-functional teams to build integrated AI solutions. • Use Git-based workflows, participate in code reviews, and collaborate within an agile development cycle. • Support documentation, internal knowledge sharing, and mentoring as the program scales.Qualifications:Required • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, AI/ML, Data Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred). • 3 years developing and deploying AI/ML applications in production. • 2 years hands-on AWS experience (serverless, microservices, CI/CD, IAM). • Strong Python programming experience. • Experience designing automated data pipelines for inference and model monitoring. • Experience with GenAI and traditional ML in applied, production environments.Technical Skills • Python required; familiarity with Go, Rust, R, or TypeScript preferred. • AI/ML frameworks: PyTorch, TensorFlow, LangChain, LlamaIndex. • AWS services: SageMaker, Bedrock, Lambda, ECS/Fargate, API Gateway, EventBridge, Glue, Step Functions, IAM, CloudWatch. • Infrastructure as Code: CloudFormation. • DevOps: Git, Docker, CI/CD (GitHub Actions or CodePipeline). • Databases: SQL/NoSQL, vector databases, AWS-native data tools.Desired Attributes • Strong understanding of AI system design and data engineering fundamentals. • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. • Passion for ethical and practical AI in education and operations. • Thrives in a fast-paced, evolving engineering environment.We need hard-working, reliable employees.
