The role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Representative focused on the public safety sector. As a Regional Sales Manager, you will be pivotal in driving sales growth and expanding our customer base within the public safety industry.
Responsibilities
1. Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to achieve or exceed sales targets, revenue goals, and market penetration within the public safety sector.
2. Identify and target key decision-makers within law enforcement agencies, Correctional, and other public safety organizations, cultivating strong relationships and generating new business opportunities.
3. Collaborate cross-functionally with product development, marketing, and customer support teams to align sales strategies with overall business objectives and enhance customer satisfaction.
4. Conduct regular sales forecasting, analysis, and reporting to track progress, identify areas for improvement, and make informed decisions to optimize sales strategies and processes.
5. Stay abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities, leveraging this knowledge to identify new business opportunities, differentiating our offerings, and refining sales approaches.
6. Represent the company as a thought leader in public safety technology, actively participating in industry events, conferences, and forums.
7. Drive a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the sales team, fostering a positive, high-performance work environment.
8. Manages Customer Project from inception to completion of training. Creates Project Scopes for effective Installation of Tek84 Products.
9. Service the needs of your existing customers through soliciting and receiving feedback of Tek84's performance against their expectations and creating plans to solidify our position as their preferred security surveillance equipment provider.
10. Accomplishes sales and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
Requirements
1. Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field (preferred).
2. Strong knowledge of the public safety sector, including law enforcement, emergency services, and related workflows and processes (preferred).
3. Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with a demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate sales professionals to achieve and exceed targets.
4. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts to diverse audiences.
5. Analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities, utilizing data-driven insights to guide decision-making and optimize sales strategies.
6. Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented, able to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
7. Knowledge of government grant programs and funding processes for public safety agencies is a plus.
8. Willingness to travel as needed to meet with customers, attend industry events and support sales activities.
