Job Summary:
The Specialization Lead (SL) reports to the Team Lead and sits in the SE Region This role is responsible for leading a group (pod) of about 3 recruiters, with less than one year of experience with TEK, in training. This position has overarching responsibility for getting the newest recruiters to the established spread and skill levels with a focus on specialization within product, vertical and/or skill set. The SL is expected to have a proven record of production and an advanced level mastery/knowledge in their specialization skill sets. The expectation is that the SL will maintain a high level of intellectual curiosity on latest industry and technology trends, and provide direction to the pod through daily goal setting, live feedback, and mentorship. The SL is responsible to drive accountability in both individual and their pods’ production results. The SL builds relationships of trust with those in their pod to position them for success, and also builds relationships of trust with external partnership (field Account Managers) to deliver on the business. The SL will partner with the Team Lead and/or the Delivery Manager to facilitate developmental conversations and coaching
with members of their pod.
Responsibilities
Essential Functions:

- Coach and mentor recruiters in pod for first 12 months of tenure, building on all the recruiter foundational
- Partner with the Onboarding Lead to deliver a great new recruiter
- Support the delivery teams through training modules, role play scheduling, daily debrief of training activities and overall expectations.
- Performance Management:
- Set clear expectations and goals for Analyze and assess recruiter trainee performance
(using Recruiter Connected Dashboard).
- Provide developmental feedback, coaching and positive reinforcement to create a culture that encourages feedback for all involved to foster ongoing development
- Participate in formal and informal periodic performance reviews including: recruiter training, key tenure milestones, graduation from trainee to full time recruiter as well as end of the year reviews.
- Work in conjunction with Account Managers, holding them accountable and supporting them in their efforts to develop recruiters.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of and execute TEK’s D4 methodology focused on:
- Business Qualification - understand how to effectively prioritize requirements, the “whys” of the position, including technology, business challenge and Ensure recruiters can articulate why a consultant should be interested in the requirement.
- Sourcing Strategy - start with near inventory resources focusing on technical and cultural fits and have a past history of maintaining a strong network & pipeline of currents and formers.
- Qualify / Disqualify - Has a strong belief in quality, as evidenced by behaviors that drive quality placements. Holds self and others accountable to qualifying candidates through the qualify / disqualify process. Provides detailed references from recent supervisors that are applicable to the requirement and speak to the consultant’s ability to impact the challenge the customer is trying to solve.
- Present Candidate to Customer - Creates focus and urgency when leveraging TEKsystems Quality Process (G2, Reference, IOI) in order to facilitate value-based dialogue with Can confidently speak to Account Managers & Customers about how the prospective consultant fits culturally
/technically and has the ability to teach others to do the same
- This position will be required to maintain the same goals and metrics from a performance and activity standpoint as other Recruiters in their tenure group.
- Fulfillment and Delivery – Oversee daily pod activity, delivery strategy and overall production for pod Collaborate with DM (in DM markets), DBO and AMs to prioritize requirements and drive activity for pod members. Align recruiter pod activity to account and division strategy.
- Operational Excellence - apply DBC and other operational Successfully utilizes technology (DRZ, Connected Dashboards, WIN Report, Communities Cases) in their pod leadership.
Qualifications
Minimum Education/Abilities/Skills:
· Bachelor’s Degree in liberal arts, communications, business or related area preferred; combination of high school diploma/GED and equivalent industry experience in lieu of a degree, at a minimum.
· Minimum of two years of industry experience with demonstrated success as a recruiter; currently at or above contest level; quarter contest or one full contest is preferred.
· Ability to collaborate virtually across functions, leadership and teams on a continuous basis, and can build a strong rapport with various roles throughout the organization.
· Able to hold others accountable to training standards and does not shy away from healthy conflict.
· Is resourceful, agile, and able to navigate through a highly matrixed work environment to achieve optimal business outcomes
· Demonstrates a strong understanding of the delivery business and extensive knowledge in assigned specialization area.
· Strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as solid facilitation skills
· Must be well organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage day to day schedules and juggle competing priorities.
· Strong independent problem-solving skills
· Is passionate about developing self and others.
· Exhibits the ability to drive results within a specific division, vertical or account.
· Demonstrates proficiency in leveraging company recruiting technology and executing operational processes.
· Remains current in technology, industry, and recruiting trends.
· Strong proficiency in recruiting tools such as Connected, MS Teams, and LinkedIn, as well as proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, One Note, etc.)
· Certification requirements may exist in the future, once built/offered
