Position: SAP Business One (B1) Consultant

Location Lewis Center, OH (Hybrid) - Must be LOCAL

After meeting with him, our leadership shared that while his background and resume are very solid, the overall impression was that his strengths seem to align more with a hands-on, day-to-day SAP operations role.

For this engagement, we re looking for someone who can more proactively identify key issues, recommend and articulate improvements, and provide strategic direction at a higher level. Based on the interview, it didn t seem like the best fit for that scope. Definitely open to reviewing other candidates who have stronger experience driving system strategy and leading improvement initiatives. It is not a development position but requires strong technical acumen, business process analysis, and integration expertise.

Required Qualifications:

1. SAP Business One Expertise
   • Deep knowledge of manufacturing operations and WIP tracking
   • Hands-on experience improving order-to-cash workflows
2. Business Analysis Skills
   • Strong process mapping and documentation abilities
   • Ability to deliver practical, actionable recommendations
3. Integration Knowledge
   • Experience integrating smaller, custom-built systems with ERP platforms
4. Operational Insight
   • Understanding of mid-market manufacturing environments, particularly discrete production

Preferred Experience:

• Previous success optimizing WIP tracking in SAP Business One for mid-sized manufacturing organizations
• Ability to document and advise without requiring major ERP re-architecture
• Proven track record of consolidating fragmented data sources into a unified system
• Experience providing strategic recommendations to improve team efficiency and organizational design

What This Role Is NOT:

• Full ERP migrations or S/4HANA upgrades
• Developer-heavy solutions (coding is not part of the role)
