Job: Mechanical Design Engineer

Location: Fenton, MO/Onsite

Length of assignment: 8-12 months/contract to direct

Description:

• 5  years as a design engineer for HVAC and commercial/marine chilled water systems
• CREO/WindChill experience
• Experience designing systems for large commercial buildings, industrial processes, hypermarkets, and data centers that require significant cooling capacity
• Deep knowledge of refrigeration theory and cycles, Chiller mechanics and complex system controls, hydronics, and pipefitting is crucial
• Ideal candidate will have modular and large centrifugal chillers experience
• Experience with new bearing technologies
• Mil/Navy STD knowledge
• Must have Bachelors degree in engineering
• Candidate will Select appropriate mechanical components, such as compressors, condensers, evaporators, expansion valves, and piping, to create a customized and efficient system.  Will create and maintain engineering drawings, bill of materials (BOM), and product specifications for chiller systems.  Will analyze system performance to maximize efficiency, ensuring optimal energy consumption and proper component de-rating for applications like glycol or PGW usage.  Will Ensure products are built according to design and customer requirements, working with manufacturing processes.
