Job Title: Senior .NET Developer Location: Richmond, VA (3 days onsite per week), Locals PreferredContract Duration: 6 MonthsContract Type: W2 Full Time Project OverviewJoin a dynamic migration project where our client is transitioning a legacy ColdFusion application to the modern .NET framework. This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your expertise in system migrations and contribute to a long-term initiative. Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate on migrating ColdFusion-based applications to .NET framework, ensuring seamless functionality and performance.Develop, test, and deploy .NET components, including backend services, APIs, and web applications.Troubleshoot and optimize code during the migration process.Participate in agile team meetings, code reviews, and integration testing.Adhere to onsite requirements (M-W) while supporting remote work as needed.Required QualificationsProven hands-on experience migrating applications from ColdFusion to .NET framework (highly preferred).Strong proficiency in .NET Core/.NET Framework, C#, ASP.NET, and related technologies.Experience with SQL Server, Entity Framework, and web development tools.Familiarity with agile methodologies and version control (e.g., Git).Ability to work onsite in Richmond, VA 3 days per week (M-W).Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate in a team environment.Preferred SkillsExperience with modern .NET features (e.g., Blazor, minimal APIs).Knowledge of cloud integration (e.g., Azure).Prior work on enterprise-level migrations.Tekhire Solutions is a world-class technology focused on customer-driven solutions and has a deep dive knowledge of client requirements.
