Job Description Essential Job Functions: · Maintain, update, and control all documents and records required by the Quality and Environmental Management Systems to ensure compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and ISO 14001 standards. · Serve as the Certified Internal Lead Auditor, conducting internal and process audits to verify compliance with company, customer, and regulatory requirements. · Ensures quality and environmental system requirements are properly established, implemented, and maintained throughout the organization. · Manage the revision, distribution, and accessibility of all Level 3 controlled documents and maintain the document Master List. · Coordinate and support third-party, customer, and corporate audits, including IATF/ISO certification and surveillance audits. · Facilitate and track Corrective Actions for all internal, external, and customer audits, ensuring timely resolution and effective closure. · Maintain and update the Quality Manual, AIAG reference manuals, and related management system documentation. · Implement QMS/EMS updates and corporate changes at the plant level, ensuring consistency and standardization across all areas. · Oversee and report on the Layered Process Audit (LPA) process, including audit completion, findings, and corrective measures. · Complete and manage Engineering Change Notices (ECNs), Quality Alerts (QAs), and Trial Waiver Logs, ensuring proper documentation, approval, and implementation. · Assist in data entry of item masters, bills of materials, and process routings in the QAD system as required. · Retrieve and maintain customer specifications, requirements, and manuals from customer websites or designated portals. · Prepare and maintain documentation packages and presentations for internal, customer, and third-party audit reviews. · Perform internal audits for compliance with quality and environmental standards and maintain records per retention requirements. · Assist departments in document retrieval, revision, and improvement of controlled processes. · Support completion of customer-required self-assessments (e.g., MMOG, CQI, Q1 MSA) and maintain certification-related documentation. · Maintain and control environmental records in alignment with ISO 14001 requirements. · Compile and submit the monthly Rooney Report data to the Staff Assistant. · Support and deliver employee training related to ISO/IATF standards, document control, and quality system awareness. · Communicate audit results, QMS/EMS updates, and quality initiatives to leadership and plant personnel. · Promote employee involvement and understanding of the Quality and Environmental Management Systems. · Support special projects and quality initiatives as assigned by the Quality Manager or Engineering Manager. Qualifications: · Certified Lead Internal Auditor for Quality Management Systems. · Minimum 3 years of experience in quality auditing, document control, or QMS/EMS management in a manufacturing environment. · Knowledge and application of IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and ISO 14001 standards. · Strong understanding of automotive manufacturing processes and customer-specific requirements. · Proficient in the AIAG Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC). · Experience with ERP systems (such as QAD) and Microsoft Office Suite. Deliverables: · Maintenance of IATF/ISO certifications. · Internal and process audits are completed on schedule. · Controlled documents and Master List maintained and current. · ECNs, corrective actions, and self-assessments completed accurately and timely. · Audit findings and improvement actions are effectively communicated and resolved. Education: · Associate’s degree in quality, Engineering, or a related field, or minimum of 5 years’ experience in Quality and/or auditing.
