Job Description Essential Job Functions: Review prior-day production reporting in QAD for abnormalities and address as necessary. Check daily shipping requirements against inventory levels; communicate shortages to production. Generate and publish weekly production schedules, incorporating customer releases, inventory, tooling, and manpower availability. Establish production priorities and issue die change schedules. Assist with weekend requirements through overtime scheduling. Collaborate with Tooling and Engineering on mold issues, PM schedules, and tooling changes. Generate reports on production rates using 12-week actual averages. Develop monthly production plans based on customer requirements and historical data. Lead weekly manning meetings covering current month two months out. Produce weekly SMC forecasts (4–12 weeks) and truck loadout schedules. Maintain WIP and finished goods inventories in alignment with plant objectives. Coordinate outsourced tooling and bank builds as required. Monitor customer demand and escalate capacity concerns to management. Maintain documentation, including the Scheduler Job Book, to ensure process continuity. Ensure compliance with IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 standards. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, or a related field; OR minimum five (5) years of experience in a manufacturing environment. Strong computer skills, including ERP systems (QAD experience preferred). Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Experience in automotive manufacturing strongly preferred.
