Role Description
This full-time Staff Engineer position at TEG Engineering involves a hybrid work arrangement, with the primary workplace in Wyoming, MI and flexibility for partial remote work. Responsibilities include designing and analyzing precast and prestressed concrete components, ensuring compliance with industry standards. The Staff Engineer will collaborate with team members to create technical drawings, perform detailed calculations, review project specifications, and provide consulting support to clients.
Salary Range
- $60-$65k annual
Qualifications
- Strong engineering and design skills, with experience in conventional and specialty retaining wall design and specialty precast concrete design highly desirable
- Ability to provide design support to Senior Engineers and coordinate directly with CAD resources. (Proficiency in MicroStation or Autodesk is a plus)
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to conduct detailed calculations and ensure compliance with industry standards
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with team members and clients
- Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or related field; E.I.T. license preferred, but not required
- Ability to balance remote work responsibilities effectively in a hybrid work environment
- Commitment to quality and attention to detail in all aspects of project execution
