Teepee Drive-In General Staff
Summary: Teepee staff are expected to engage with customers to provide a positive experience and demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of menu items and theater operations. This is a seasonal position with potential to work at other Kante Group concepts.
Responsibilities and Duties:
· Be friendly, motivated, and a team player.
· Educate customers on ordering platform and menu items, use the Point-of-Sale system, and fulfill orders in the concessions trailer.
· Properly handle food and concession items.
· Be able to handle cash and credit card transactions including collecting payments and issuing change.
· Check-in prepaid ticketed customers and sell Teepee Drive-In tickets to drive up customers at the ticket booth. Includes providing guests with information for future events/movies.
· Willing and able to prevent people from bringing outside food or coolers.
· Able to open and close the ticket booth and concessions trailers properly and at the right time.
· Provide the best customer service on the waterfront. Project a friendly and helpful attitude at all times.
· Attempt to resolve all customer service issues within the guidelines of policy. Turn a negative experience into a positive result.
· Maintain a clean and organized ticket booth and concessions trailer. Will also be responsible for maintaining public restrooms.
· Be able to multitask- Ensure that only the people who purchased tickets are allowed in. Ring up any additional persons in vehicle to purchase a ticket.
· Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
· Pitch in wherever the Teepee Drive-In needs help.
Qualifications:
· Retail or customer service experience preferred.
· Must be at least 21 years of age.
· Ensure customers receive excellent service in a timely manner.
· Obtain a Food Handler’s Certificate, ABLE License & an Oklahoma Seller/Server Training certificate approved by the Oklahoma ABLE Commission.
Working Conditions:
PHYSICAL / ENVIRONMENTAL: This position may require occasional lifting and the carrying of objects up to 50 pounds. Basic computer application skills. Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays if needed. Duties are performed in a drive-in and concessions setting. Regularly required to reach, talk, listen, interpret, and communicate, both verbally and in writing. Frequently required to stand and walk for extended periods of time. Vision is expected to be at a level proficient for reading, viewing monitors, and other hardware components. Vision is also expected to see details involved with cleaning. Works in a professional environment with possible high stress levels. This position also requires working outdoors with possible exposure to excessive humidity, heat, and cold air temperatures. You will work around moving objects or vehicles and may be in contact with slippery and uneven walking surfaces.
