Teaching Assistant
Looking for a dependable educator who enjoys playing, signing, painting and more with young children in a fun environment!
Duties:
- Provide support to the lead teacher in classroom management and instruction
- Assist with lesson planning and preparation of teaching materials
- Supervise students during classroom activities and ensure their safety
- Assist in maintaining a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Collaborate with the lead teacher to implement behavior management strategies
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the lead teacher
- Assist with tasks such as organizing classroom materials
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with young children, such as caregiving, babysitting, nannying, or tutoring
- Strong communication skills and ability to effectively interact with students, parents, and staff
- Knowledge of classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for working with children
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Background check and Medical required
