Job Description:
The Teeny Foods Janitor is an integal part of our Sanitation team and this position is responsible for cleaning the facility daily, including offices, locker rooms, and entryway areas. This position ensures that the facility is maintained in a clean and orderly fashion, follows BRC guidelines to remain compliant with industry regulations, and strives toward a LEAN manufacturing methodology for organizing, cleaning, developing, and sustaining a productive work environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Cleaning and sanitizing the facility to ensure sanitary conditions at all times.
- Cleaning duties include: sweeping, vacuuming, emptying waste bins, and dusting.· Mopping high traffic areas, including entry ways and locker rooms.
- Refilling soap and towel dispensers, and maintaining supplies in restrooms.
- Providing weekly deep clean of offices, and regular deep clean of lunch room.
- Strictly adhering to and following all Safety, and Sanitary Standard Operating Procedures (SSOP).
- Excellent Attendance.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Ability to work in both hot and cold environments.
- Be a team player willing to perform additional duties as required.
Education:
High school diploma or GED preferred but not required. Selected candidates will have employment eligibility verified through the E-Verify program as well as be required to pass a Drug screen and a criminal background investigation.
Requirements
- Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Must have an excellent attendance record.
- Must be able to read and comprehend Safety Data Sheets (SDS)
- Ability to accurately record data and maintain checklists.
- Strong work ethic, including the ability to report to work on time for scheduled shifts.
- Be a team player willing to perform additional duties as required.

We are currently following the CDC and Oregon's recommended guidelines. No masks are required but are provided for those who want to wear them. Partition separators are set up in break areas, and hand sanitizing stations are throughout the facility.
