We’re looking for an experienced Claims Examiner who can manage complex indemnity claims from start to finish while providing excellent communication and service to claimants, providers, and internal staff. This is a remote role offering remote work flexibility. What You’ll Do As a Claims Examiner, you’ll play a key role in managing a full caseload of workers’ compensation claims with professionalism, accuracy, and care. Your responsibilities include: Managing a caseload of 150–180 workers’ compensation claims, including complex filesConducting timely and thorough investigationsDetermining compensability and administering benefits in accordance with state regulationsOverseeing medical treatment plans and reviewing medical billingCoordinating with legal counsel when necessaryCommunicating regularly with claimants, medical providers, vendors, and internal teamsEstablishing reserves within approved guidelinesSettling and finalizing claims with appropriate authorityMaintaining detailed documentation and diary reviewsParticipating in file reviews and collaborating with team membersEnsuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and state guidelines What We’re Looking For Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent combination of education and experience)1–5 years of experience in workers’ compensation claims handling Skills & Abilities: Strong knowledge of workers’ compensation laws and medical terminologyExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong analytical and decision-making abilitiesAbility to manage complex files independentlyProficiency in Word and Excel is a plusAbility to work effectively with all levels of internal and external stakeholders Licensing:Active Self Insured Plans (SIP) Certification Benefits You’ll Enjoy We believe in supporting our team with competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits: Medical, Dental, and Vision insuranceLife & Disability coverage401(k) retirement planPaid Holidays & Paid Time OffReferral Bonus Program Apply Today!
