️ Mechanical/Electrical Designer – Aerospace
Location: Medford, OR | Type: Full-time | Clearance: Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
A global leader in aerospace is seeking a Mechanical/Electrical Designer to support system design for mission-critical aircraft platforms. This hybrid role involves developing mechanical assemblies and detailed electrical schematics, collaborating cross-functionally with engineering and manufacturing teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Create 2D/3D mechanical models, wiring diagrams, and harness layouts using CAD tools (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Capital Logic Designer)
Translate system requirements into logical signal flows, wiring configurations, and compliant aerospace documentation
Collaborate with engineering teams on design revisions, prototyping, and testing
Ensure designs meet FAA, AS9100, and internal standards
Manage BOMs, design changes, and production support
Required Skills & Experience:
AS or BS in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Drafting Technology, or equivalent experience
3–5 years of experience in aerospace or industrial mechanical/electrical design
Proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA, and familiarity with Capital Logic Designer
Experience with wiring schematics, DFM, GD&T, and regulatory compliance
Understanding of FAA/aerospace documentation standards preferred
Other Details:
Occasional on-site work required at the production facility
Must be able to obtain background clearance if needed
