What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electrical Field Engineer position at TEEMA?
We are supporting a large industrial energy infrastructure project and are seeking an Electrical Engineer to join the site construction team supporting major construction and plant execution activities.
This is a field-focused engineering role centered around construction coordination, startup support, contractor management, field issue resolution, inspections, RFIs/redlines, and daily collaboration between engineering and construction teams.
The ideal candidate will come from power generation, industrial construction, utilities, oil & gas, heavy industrial, or large manufacturing project environments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support electrical construction and field execution activities
• Coordinate with engineering, construction, subcontractors, and vendors
• Review drawings, specifications, submittals, and field installations
• Support startup, commissioning, and turnover activities
• Manage field changes, redlines, RFIs, and construction documentation
• Conduct site inspections and support project schedule execution
• Assist with issue resolution during active construction phases
Preferred Experience:
• 10 years supporting industrial electrical installations or construction projects
• Experience in industrial plants, utilities, power, oil & gas, or large infrastructure projects
• Strong field coordination and contractor management experience
• EPC or large-scale industrial construction project experience preferred
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering required
