What are the responsibilities and job description for the Design Engineer – Heavy Transportation (PE Track) position at TEEMA?
We are seeking a motivated Design Engineer focused on roadway and heavy transportation projects to join a growing engineering team in Oklahoma City.
Role Responsibilities:
✔ Perform roadway and highway design work compliant with AASHTO standards
✔ Prepare plan/profile sheets using Bentley/OpenRoads or Civil 3D
✔ Support design analysis for horizontal/vertical alignments
✔ Assist with storm sewer and culvert design
✔ Review roadway, bridge, traffic, and pedestrian plans
✔ Coordinate with internal staff and external consultants
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (ABET-accredited preferred)
FE passed; PE track or near PE strongly preferred
2–7 years of transportation/highway design experience
Experience with ODOT, OTA, DOT, municipal, or state-level projects
Civil 3D, OpenRoads, Bentley MicroStation or equivalent platform
