NESR CEO INTERNSHIP — 72 HOURS WITH THE CEO
This is not a traditional internship.
This is a rare opportunity to spend 72 hours shadowing Sherif Foda, the Chairman & CEO of NESR, a $2B Nasdaq-listed Oilfield Services company operating in the Middle East and North Africa.
Through this experience, two selected students - one in the Middle East and one in Houston - will gain:
- Direct exposure to CEO-level decision-making at the highest levels of the global energy industry
- First-hand insight into leadership under complexity, uncertainty, and high-stakes environments
- A front-row perspective on how strategy is shaped and executed at the executive level
This opportunity is designed for ambitious students who are serious about building a career in energy, regardless of whether their background is technical, commercial, or policy-focused. If selected, you will be expected to engage actively, think critically, and make the most of direct access to one of the most important leaders in the energy industry in the Middle East

Your application must include:

- A short written response to a NESR strategic scenario
- A brief insight into your ambitions in the energy industry and why you are applying
- You must be signed up to our TEE360 Future Energy Leaders Network (If you are not, your application will not be considered!)
Finally, you must:
- Be an undergraduate student
- Have a clear demonstrable interest in the energy industry even if you do not have a classic petroleum engineering or typically energy related degree

KEY DATES & INTERNSHIP STRUCTURE

The NESR Executive Internship will consist of two separate placements, with one student selected for each:
Middle East Internship
Duration: 1 week (including 72 hours of CEO shadowing)
Timing: Late May / Early June (TBC)
Location: NESR Middle East operations (final location to be confirmed based on schedule)
Houston Internship (USA)
Duration: 1 week (including 72 hours of CEO shadowing)
Timing: Late August / Early September (TBC - if the internship falls during your semester studies, we will discuss with the university of the selected student a licensed week off from campus., so please do not let this stop you from applying.)
