Duties
- Safely operate box trucks and commercial vehicles with manual transmission to deliver goods across designated routes.
- Plan efficient delivery routes, manage schedules, and navigate traffic to meet delivery deadlines promptly.
- Interact professionally with customers during deliveries, answer questions, and address any concerns with a friendly attitude.
- Verify shipment accuracy, complete delivery documentation, and obtain signatures as proof of delivery.
- Assist with warehouse tasks such as moving inventory, organizing stock, and maintaining a clean work environment.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues that arise on the route.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks involving moving large or bulky items safely.
