We are seeking an experienced and entrepreneurial Operations Manager to lead daily operations, drive revenue growth, recruit drivers, and expand our fleet.

What You'll DoOperations Management
- Oversee day-to-day NEMT operations
- Maximize vehicle utilization and driver productivity
- Ensure all trips are scheduled, completed, and submitted on time
- Manage vehicle registrations, inspections, insurance renewals, and compliance requirements
- Coordinate biweekly payroll processing
Revenue & Broker Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with ModivCare, MTM, Access2Care, and other transportation brokers
- Conduct regular broker review meetings
- Secure sufficient trip volume to keep all drivers productive
- Monitor cancellation trends and improve trip completion rates
- Maintain a rolling 7-day trip pipeline forecast
Driver Recruitment & Management
- Recruit, hire, train, and retain high-performing drivers
- Monitor attendance, customer service, and productivity
- Coach underperforming drivers and replace when necessary
- Ensure adequate staffing levels to support growth
Fleet Growth
- Recruit owner-operators who bring or purchase their own vehicles
- Expand fleet capacity through owner-operator partnerships
- Develop referral and recruiting programs
- Help scale the business beyond company-owned vehicles
Billing & Compliance
- Ensure all completed trips are submitted within 24 hours
- Monitor claim status and collections
- Resolve denied or rejected claims
- Coordinate W-2s, 1099s, tax filings, and operational compliance
- Obtain competitive insurance quotes and recommend cost-saving opportunities annually
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience managing NEMT, transportation, logistics, fleet, or dispatch operations
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Experience working with Medicaid transportation brokers such as ModivCare, MTM, or Access2Care
- Knowledge of NEMT compliance, billing, and claims processes
- Ability to recruit, manage, and motivate drivers
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on growth and accountability
