Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining presentation standards
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations (bussing and sanitation)
- Assist with food preparation or kitchen support as needed in a hospitality or food industry setting
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation procedures
- Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations during shifts
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is advantageous
- Experience in serving, host/host roles, bussing, or guest services enhances candidacy
- Knowledge of food handling, sanitation standards, and food safety practices is essential
- Strong skills in time management, upselling techniques, and customer service are required
- Basic math skills for cashiering and cash handling are necessary
- Experience with food preparation or kitchen support roles is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to provide excellent guest relations in a fast-paced environment
