Pizza Delivery Driver

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting menu items to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent customer service skills, as you will be the face of our company during deliveries. A strong background in driving, customer service, and food service is preferred. A reliable personal vehicle, current registration and Vermont State inspection as well as insurance meeting the minimum required coverages for food delivery is required.

Duties

• Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to designated locations.
• Load and unload products, ensuring items are secured and protected during transit.
• Follow assigned routes for efficient delivery while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any inquiries or concerns from customers.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly.
• Assist in restaurant operations when not on the road, including kitchen and front of house duties, cleaning and general labor/customer service.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
• Experience in food service is advantageous.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks related to moving goods.
• Familiarity with route driving and local traffic patterns is beneficial.

Job Type: Part-time

Base Pay: $22.64 - $27.26 per hour
