What You’ll Do
As the Express Lane Shop Foreman, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day leadership of our Express Service department, ensuring repairs are completed safely, efficiently, and correctly the first time.
Responsibilities include:
- Lead, coach, and support Express Lane and Maintenance Technicians.
- Dispatch work to maximize technician productivity and minimize customer wait times.
- Perform quality control inspections before vehicles are returned to customers.
- Assist technicians with diagnostics and repair procedures when needed.
- Ensure all repairs meet Hyundai factory standards and warranty requirements.
- Maintain efficient shop workflow while delivering outstanding customer satisfaction.
- Foster a positive, team-oriented culture focused on accountability and continuous improvement.
- Work closely with Service Advisors to provide accurate repair updates and estimated completion times.
- Train and mentor entry-level technicians as they advance through their careers.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Previous leadership experience in an automotive service department preferred.
- Hyundai dealership experience is highly preferred; other OEM dealership experience will also be considered.
- Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and repair skills.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational abilities.
- ASE certifications are a plus.
- Hyundai certifications are preferred or willingness to obtain them.
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
- Positive attitude with a commitment to teamwork and customer satisfaction.
