Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Sheet Metal Foreman to lead and supervise installation crews on commercial projects. This role is responsible for overseeing job site operations, ensuring high-quality workmanship, maintaining safety standards, and delivering projects on time and within scope.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead sheet metal installation crews on job sites
- Plan, coordinate, and execute daily work activities
- Install sheet metal components including flashing, coping, gutters, and downspouts
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications
- Ensure all work meets company quality standards and safety regulations
- Train, mentor, and develop crew members
- Monitor materials, tools, and equipment usage on site
- Maintain accurate job documentation and progress updates
- 3 years of sheet metal installation experience with leadership experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of commercial roofing and sheet metal systems
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
- Ability to work at heights and climbing ladders in all weather conditions
- Valid driver’s license required
