Description

Monument Roofing of Colorado Springs joined the Tecta America family in January 2024, bringing a team of seasoned professionals with extensive experience in the commercial roofing industry. We provide a full range of services for businesses, industrial facilities, and property managers, including roof installations, re-roofs, metal roofing, leak repairs, preventative maintenance, roof coatings, inspections, and custom sheet metal fabrication.

We are seeking a Service Manager to lead our Colorado Springs Service Department. This role involves overseeing department operations, ensuring safety compliance, completing projects on time and within budget, and delivering exceptional customer service. The Service Manager will also focus on driving sales revenue by capturing new business and building strong relationships with prospective clients.

Responsibilities (include):

• Manage document flow, including payroll, administration, and final proposals.
• Develop and implement departmental sales plans.
• Review estimates, inspections, scopes, proposals, and invoices for accuracy.
• Supervise, train, and evaluate team members; hire and terminate staff per Tecta policies.
• Maintain communication with customers, management, and employees while coordinating with other departments.
• Oversee daily service operations, including scheduling, service tickets, timecard reviews, and field crew coordination.
• Ensure exceptional customer service and timely resolution of requests.
• Collect past-due accounts and issue proposals for service work.
• Manage service projects, monitoring labor, materials, and customer communication.
• Attend meetings with property managers, owners, and contractors for project updates and inspections.
• Ensure timely and accurate billing and provide monthly financial reports to leadership.
• Assess staffing needs, hire with HR support, and schedule relevant training programs.
• Maintain a high level of team morale and delegate responsibilities effectively.
  
  

Job Functions:

• Have solid knowledge and hands-on experience with different roofing systems and materials.
• Be capable of selling and estimating projects effectively.
• Read and understand blueprints and project specifications.
• Use computers and relevant software confidently for tasks like reporting and scheduling.
• Communicate clearly, both in writing and speaking, with team members, clients, and management.
• Write clear and detailed reports, scopes of work, and proposals as needed.
• Manage and lead a team in a practical, professional, and results-oriented way.
