Overview
Join our Risk Adjustment team as the technical lead for analytics. The Risk Adjustment Analyst is responsible for organizing and managing large and varied data sets, analyzing healthcare data for decision support, and communicating findings. You’ll report to the Manager of Risk Adjustment and provide actionable insights on risk adjustment data to ensure accurate and compliant risk burden identification.
Your Role
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
Proficiency in Python and SQL (able to build, explain, debug, and document code).
Bonus: experience with R, SAS, or other languages.
Bonus: experience with the Medicare Advantage risk adjustment models
Strong attention to detail and ability to self-validate work.
Excellent communication and teamwork.
Responsive and proactive in supporting internal stakeholders.

The Risk Adjustment Analyst is responsible for organizing and managing large and varied data sets, analyzing healthcare data for decision support, and communicating findings. You’ll report to the Manager of Risk Adjustment and provide actionable insights on risk adjustment data to ensure accurate and compliant risk burden identification.
Your Role
- Build and automate reports using Python, SQL, Excel, etc.
- Analyze large and small datasets: join, transform, engineer features, and extract insights.
- Performs research and deep-dive analysis of complex healthcare claims data, CMS return files, and financial cost, revenue, and vendor data.
- Use the CMS risk adjustment model to support revenue accruals.
- Optimize Medicare Advantage audit outcomes using statistical techniques.
- Create tools and dashboards that improve operational efficiency.
- Background in computer science, math, actuarial science, engineering, or similar.
- Experienced in coding (school, work, or personal projects).
- Skilled at analyzing data for actionable insights.
- Early-career or recent graduate.
- Passionate, mission-driven, and highly collaborative.
