The AI & Automation Technical Lead will serve as the senior technical leader responsible for driving Zing Health’s enterprise AI strategy, roadmap, and delivery.
This role requires deep technical expertise, strong execution capability, and the ability to lead a cross-functional team spanning engineering, automation, data science and business analysis.
Essential Functions
- Own and drive the enterprise AI & automation strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and technology architecture.
- Evaluate, validate, and prioritize AI/automation use cases based on technical feasibility, scalability, and ROI.
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of AI solutions — from prototype to production — across Salesforce, Genesys, Azure, and EDW ecosystems.
- Architect and guide the development of AI workflows, LLM integrations, bots, orchestration layers, and intelligent automation capabilities.
- Partner closely with the CIO, COO, and AI Council to define roadmap, governance standards, and operating rhythm.
- Oversee technical work of Data Scientists, Analysts, and Automation Engineers; provide coaching and elevate technical practices.
- Ensure solutions follow best practices for security, privacy, compliance (CMS, HIPAA), and responsible AI.
- Collaborate with enterprise architecture, data governance, cybersecurity, and DevOps to ensure scalable designs.
- Drive continuous innovation — explore new AI technologies (Copilot, Azure OpenAI, N8N automations, conversational AI, predictive models).
REQUIREMENTS:
- 6 years in software engineering, automation, AI/ML, or technical architecture roles.
- Experience integrating AI with enterprise platforms such as Salesforce, Genesys, EDW/Data Fabric.
- Candidates with Hands-on experience in the following areas will have a strong advantage:
- Azure AI/ML, Azure OpenAI, Copilot extensions
- Salesforce AI/Einstein, Genesys AI/IVA
- Automation tools (N8N, Power Automate, RPA, workflow platforms)
- Data pipelines, APIs, microservices, and model integration
- Proven track record leading technical delivery teams.
- Strong architecture and design thinking; ability to build scalable AI platforms.
- Deep understanding of healthcare operations, payer workflows, or regulated environments preferred.
- Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions and articulate trade-offs to senior leadership.
- Excellent communication, leadership presence, and collaboration skills.
- Lead the creation of a new AI & Automation practice.
