This is a full-time, on-site role for a CMM Programmer located in Boston, MA. The CMM Programmer will be responsible for programming and operating Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to ensure product quality. Additional responsibilities include conducting precise measurements, interpreting technical drawings, generating reports from inspection data, and performing equipment maintenance. The individual will contribute to improving inspection processes and collaborating with cross-functional teams to uphold company precision standards.
- Proficiency in CMM Programming, Operation, and Maintenance
- Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) and ability to interpret technical drawings
- Experience with precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and height gauges
- Familiarity with inspection and quality assurance standards
- Attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and analytical thinking
- Good communication skills and ability to work within cross-functional teams
- Relevant experience in manufacturing, aerospace, defense, or medical device industries is preferred
- Associate’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Technology or a related field is a plus
- Basic computer skills including knowledge of MS Office software
